Meet The Founders
We’re Allie & Chrissy. Bffs and a couple of big kids who can be seen in matching *NSYNC tees or acting out The Lizzie McGuire Movie. We believe the world would be a better place if grownups played more often.

The Splatter Loft is a pillar of our umbrella business, Elective Studios, a creative playground where we make content, events, and experiences with the goal of uplifting, inspiring, and reminding adults to play, explore, imagine, create, and build meaningful connection.

We offer a fun, inviting, and safe environment for people to express themselves without fear of judgement. Imagine taking an Elective as an adult - it’s like that!
Before relocating back to the midwest in 2020, we managed dozens of events and experiences in Los Angeles including a creative “playday” for grownups that featured a paint splatter experience and special performances by artists such as Alex Kinsey of X-Factor winning Duo Alex & Sierra, actress/singer Laura Marano (most recently stars in ‘The Royal Treatment’ on Netflix) and comedy/internet sensation Morgan Jay. We put our dreams on hold when the pandemic hit and are thrilled to be able to bring our vision to life in Cleveland!
Chrissy
Allie
A Cleveland native, Allie is a senior marketing professional with 10+ years experience in events and entertainment, including work with leading brands like Disney, Target, and Xbox. Allie also helped launch the infamous Museum of Ice Cream during her time at VentureFuel, a Corporate Innovation Consulting firm pairing the biggest brands in the world with the coolest startups. She currently works at Meta (fka Facebook) supporting Creators across Meta platforms.
Allie’s passion for entrepreneurship began at an early age – helping her family grow their multimedia business in Ohio.
An Ann Arbor native, Chrissy is an award-winning director and creative visionary with 10+ years experience in the entertainment industry. Most recently, Chrissy worked as a writer, producer, and director at Disney, where she has directed A-list talent like Selena Gomez, Lady Gaga, and Ariana Grande.
Chrissy’s passion for the arts began at an early age when she would write and create movies that she, her brothers and cousins would make to entertain at family reunions.
